Years of Excellence and Service... Located
on beautiful Indian Lake, also known as Alexandra lake,
after Queen Alexandra in 1909.
Indian
Lake Lodge is a centre of rich heritage with
grand fishing and hunting in Northwestern Ontario. Derek and Cassy continue to work diligently to ensure the
consistent quality that has been Indian Lake Lodge's
reputation. Cassy, who has grown up in the business while
working at her family's fishing resort on nearby Eagle
Lake, adds her experience with enthusiasm to the lodge's
team. Excellent fishing conditions await the novice and
experienced anglers. You can sample a cross-section of
North America's finest game species including muskie,
walleye, small mouth bass and lake trout. Our well
equipped boats with 30 through 130 hp outboards ensure safe,
fast and reliable access to any location on our chain of
lakes. Guests will also enjoy fishing in boats on nearby
portage lakes. Take a look at our accommodations...
This
is God's Country... So
much to see and experience: pure sparkling blue water;
fresh, clean air; wild blueberries, strawberries and
raspberries; grouse, bald eagles, waterfowl, otters,
beavers, pine squirrels, deer, bear, moose and fox. The
cry of the loon can be heard most evenings. For camera
buffs and nature enthusiasts, a trip to the wetlands'
observation deck is a must.
The lodge is conveniently located just 15 minutes north of Vermilion Bay, Ontario.
Vermilion Bay is midway between Dryden and Kenora on the Trans Canada Highway (Hwy. #17).
Jet service to Dryden and limousine service to the lodge are available. A twin engine
airstrip is also located a short distance down the road from the lodge.
